Jodie Kennett

After years spent working at the Mid Western Area Health Service (NSW), New England Area Health Service (NSW) and finally at the Mid North Coast Area Health Service (NSW), Jodie Kennett decided to expand her services into Private Practice. Originally starting as a sole Dietitian in 2002, increasing requests for quality nutrition services in the Port Macquarie area lead to Jodie forming JK Healthcare. Jodie graduated in 1996 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition & Dietetics), and in 2008 completed a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian, a Credentialled Diabetes Educator and is also a Certified Insulin Pump Trainer. Being dual qualified means that Jodie is able to provide advice on how to manage Diabetes, as well as all areas of nutrition in the one consultation. Other interests also include areas such as weight loss surgery, heart disease, liver disease and all aspects of nutrition.
